For my long-time clients, you may remember that I used to publish a monthly newsletter. Thanks to technology and our wonderful team at B. Riley, I’m now able to share my thoughts again – using our website!
For this first edition, I’d like to just shout out two items.
Social Security is 91 years old. The law creating the program that supports over 75 million Americans was signed into law on August 14th, 1935. Hopefully it will be around for another 91 years! Click here if you are interested in learning more about the history of Social Security.
IRS Section 530A, better known as Trump Accounts, officially launched in July and can now accept contributions. These accounts offer families a tax-advantaged investment vehicle as they save for their children’s future. U.S. citizens born between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2028 are eligible for a one-time $1,000 federally funded grant contribution to their tax-deferred account. To learn more, see instructions for IRS Form 4547. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles – almost anyone can contribute to a child’s Trump Account. Think of these accounts as an opportunity to teach children about investing and the power of compounding. Click here to learn more about Trump Accounts and view the latest news.
I look forward to sharing more thoughts with you. Keep checking back for regular updates. Wishing you health, happiness and wealth.
